What

Traditional high standard Provencal house, with large garden (3300 SQM) and swimming pool. Air-conditionnned for the hot summer nights. For the cooking enthusiasts: professional cooker, wood fired pizza oven and barbeque. For the hard working ones: broadband and satellite TV. For the kids, plenty of games and sport items. For all the others, just a great place to enjoy between the garden, the terrace and the pool, waiting for the Aperitif playing Petanque in the evening!

Where

Maillane is located in the heart of Provence: 5 km to Saint Remy and the Alpilles mounts, 15 km to Avignon, its Pope palace and Theater Festival; 25 Km to Arles, its Roman antiques; its bull races and photo festival; 1hr drive to the Luberon, its villages and markets; 1 hr drive too to the wine area of Chateauneuf du Pape and its hearty reds; 1hr drive to Camargue and the seaside...so much to do that one week will be too short!

Why

A short walk from the center of a typical and very animated small village with all the facilities (grocers, bakers, mini mart, doctor, pharmacy...), our house is a perfect base to visit Provence. The size of the house makes it a great place for a large family or two smaller ones spending their holidays together. Its equipment and features will ensure a trouble free and quality time for your break.

About me

We are a family of 5 living in Singapore. Laure has taken a break from work and is enjoying guiding in various museums while I am managing a Logistics company. Asia has been home for the past 20 years however we love foremost Provence where we are both coming from and where we have our family home. We will be happy to share that great place with others, mostly in Europe, so our children (Andrea,9, Nans 12 and Hugo 15) can discover this "foreign" continent!

I would highly recommend this house. It is even better than the photos and the family are very hospitable. The house is in an excellent area with lots of sightseeing near at hand though you will reluctant to leave the pool !
Just spent a fabulous week here - don't hesitate if offered an exchange.
