This 'magnaneraie' is a traditional house from Provence, built in the 1800's, located near a quiet village and in the middle of vineyards, mountains and nature.
The walls are 1m thick, keeping it cool in summer and warm in winter. Recently renovated with all new appliances, 2 bedrooms both with fantastic views of 'Les Dentelles de Montmirail' and 'Le Mont Ventoux', private parking, 1 bathroom, 2 bikes, a storage room with perfect temperature for a cellar and a lovely garden with olive trees.
In the center of the most famous vineyards of Cotes du Rhones: Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Beaumes de Venise and Chateauxneuf du Pape.
1km from bakeries and shops, markets every day in and around the village, close to hiking or biking trails, ski-fields and a swimming pool.
10 mins drive from Carpentras, 20 mins from Avignon, 1h from Aix en Provence, 1h30 from Marseille beaches and 2h45 from Paris by train.
Our house is a place where you can appreciate every side of the provence, situated in a typical provencial village and close to cities with a lot of history: Avignon, Carpentras, Vaison la Romaine, Orange...
In front of the house you can see the "Tour de France", relax in the hammock and listen to the cicadas. Nearby there is a nice restaurant and down the hill a little waterfall with a river.
This is a place where you can enjoy a peaceful existence and experience many fine foods and wine.
We are a couple in our early 30's, Morgan from France and Fran from Australia. We currently live in Melbourne but wish to move for a year to Brisbane and swap our house in France - a good point is we can be in Brisbane to meet you before the swap.
Morgan works in renewable energy and Fran in insurance. We both enjoy travelling and sharing different cultures. We are very clean, tidy people who enjoy a relaxed lifestyle at home and we take good care of our own belongings and those of others.
