What
Single story, ( bungalow ) 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom,combined kitchen/family/dining area, seperate lounge/TV room. Very easy care, little to no garden. Comfortable and homely. 4 years old. It has a double sized enclosed garage.
Where
Great location. The Indian Ocean is at the bottom of the street .It is an easy stroll into the town centre and many cafes, restaurants, cinema, marina, arts centre. There is a bus service to town or the train station. We are also 40 minutes away by electric train from fabulous Fremantle, a very trendy cosmopolitan port city, famous for the Americas Cup race won by Australia 2 in 1983.
Why
My house would make a good swap because of it's location not only in Mandurah itself but Mandurah is the gateway to the famous Margaret River Wine region, being a two to three hour drive through some lovely countryside and the massive jarrah forests. It is also a 45 minute train ride into the capital of Western Australia, Perth. Perth is a very picturesque city, very clean and reasonably quiet and surrounded by the Swan River and overlooked by beautiful Kings Park (. photo above )
About me
I am a single mature lady, originally born in Manchester but have lived in W.A. for 37 years. I have two adult children . I enjoy returning to Manchester as often as possible and as I like to stay at least 8 weeks, I think an exchange would be a good idea. Ideally, I would like a 2 to 3 month exchange over the Christmas/New Year period.
