What
We live in a 3 story attatched cottage which has some lovely features such as an open fire and cotswold stone feature walls. The house has mondern country style decore and has bonuses such as a conservatory, a garden and a park just outside the front of the house. It has a warm and quaint feeling, is well maintained and very homely! Our neighbours are all very friendly and are happy to help when needed. We also have a treadmill for those who like to keep fit! A quiet and enjoyable place to be.
Where
The house is situated in the centre of the beautiful costwolds. It is a 10 minute walk to stroud centre which is a lovely quaint town including shops, restaurants, pubs, 2 clubs, cinema, bowling and a train station. The train staition has easy links to london and other major cities which makes traveling the surrounding area easy and pleasurable. The area is filled with country side, beautiful wooded areas and highly recommended country pubs. A truely beautiful area.
Why
The area can cater for most needs, sports and hobbies as there are many towns and cities near by that hold plenty to do. Popular nearby activities include: horse riding, fishing, watersports, cycling, walking, go-carting, shooting, ski centres, etc.
There are also some amazing places to eat for any food lovers, where you can enjoy true british food at reasonable prices.
About me
We are Tash and Ollie. We are a young couple who are hoping to do our first house swap and see some of Australia. I work in a local horse riding centre as a yard manager and instructor and Ollie works for an electrical company. We are friendly and light hearted people who like to keep a nice home. We like to meet new people, see new places and enjoy being outside.
