The house is a Victorian mid terrace of nine, it has a through sitting room with double glazed french doors into the garden and a wood burning stove. open plan kitchen with gas hob and cooker, dish washer and American style fridge freezer. Downstairs shower room and utility room with washing/dryer machine and second loo. Upstairs has two single bedrooms , master bedroom with fab views and bathroom loo combo. Attic studio sleeps two at back and has fab views to both. Central heating throughout.

Où

The house is 30 seconds from the main cobbled shopping street of St.Ives, situated up a very steep hill and just up the road from the Barbara Hepworth Museum. The street sounds and general New year revelry are left at the bottom of the hill. Beautiful beaches and cliff walks are all very handy as are shops, banks, The Tate, restaurants and even a three screen cinema. A public car park is just behind the house above the Tate Gallery and Porthmeor surfing beach.

Pourquoi

St.ives is a beautiful location all year round, wild and windy or calm and bright it has a charm that seduces all its visitors. The beaches are world class with Blue Flag status and have beautiful soft sand . Seven beaches are within close walking distance, or a 45 minute walk will take you to a deserted beach even in the height of summer. One of the most beautiful coastal train rides in Britain will also take you there. Surf, swimming, walking or sunbathing, the house is perfectly situated.

À propos de moi

We are both artists with semi grown up children. Our home comes complete with two female cats and resident sea gulls. (On the roof tops). Situated with panoramic views of St.Ives bay, and a small sunny south facing garden. Just minutes from several sandy beaches, award winning restaurants and the Tate Gallery. We have lived here for 18 years and our home has an eclectic mix of old and new, designer next to car boot finds.
